POTTERY: Create Your Own Cup!

Saturday, 3/14. 10:30AM - 5PM. A 20 minute one-on-one pottery crash course! Groups book consecutive appointments. Taught by local artist Sara Shearman. Tickets available on Eventbrite. POTTERY QUICK CLASS - Create your own cup Have you ever seen a potter create a vessel and thought... "That is so cool, I want to try that!" Well now is your chance! Join us for an amazing opportunity to craft your own ceramic tumbler or mug. Choose a time slot to work and come prepared in your clothes that can get messy. You will sit at the potter's wheel and manipulate clay with the assistance of ceramic artist Sara Shearman. Each time slot is for one person. If friends and family would like to make a piece together, you will want to reserve time slots that are back to back. Any other friends and family are welcome to come and hangout, watch, and take pictures. This is a family friendly event; we work with ages 10 and up. $50 for 1 tumbler ADD ONS: We'll add a handle for you! + $7.00 Or, do it yourself! Return Sunday from 10AM-12PM to add texture, design, or draw on the clay, and learn how to add your own handle. + $30.00 Glaze colors to choose from and to be added by Sara after firing: aqua, leaf green, white, yellow, amethyst, light green, black. Your cups will be available two weeks after the workshop (March 28th). This accounts for the full process of drying, firing, and glazing to occur. We can also take care of shipping for $8.00.
